Helps prevent clogging in pipelines
June 1st 2007 Netzsch has
introduced the
M-Ovas, a
macerator/
grinding
machine for
industries where
solids in a liquid
media can
interfere with
processes and
create potential
safety risks.
Suitable for use in biogas,waste
and sewage plants, food
processing, paper and pulp
production and even health resorts,
the M-Ovas uses hardened steel
cutting tips to grind the solids
content of the media to help
prevent clogging in pipelines.
It comes in a range of capacities
and can achieve flow rates to
300m3/h where the liquid media
has a solids content of up to 7%.
Grinding is accomplished using
self-adjusting,wear resistant knives
in the housing cover, which has gas
reducing pressure valves.
The integrated separating
chamber has individual outlet ports
