Satisfactory fuel savings or full refund
April 1st 2008 Magnatech has been awarded a
contract to supply its Fuel
Conditioning units for boilers and
CHP units to five MOD bases in the
South of England.
The contract follows successful
trials where similar units have been
saving in excess of £100 000 per
year, according to the utilities'
manager, with no ongoing costs.
Described by Magnatech as
'Probably the most powerful
purpose-made units available for
this sort of application', the systems
are suitable for larger boilers.
The company is so sure of the
fuel saving capability of the units
that it guarantees that, if the client
is not satisfied with the savings
after a trial period, it will receive a
full refund for the cost of the unit.
Payback time is typically within
10 months and there are no
maintenance or running costs.
