Limescale reduction proved August 1st 2004 WaterMATIC says testing of its KalGUARD+ electrolytic scale inhibitor at Cranfield University has confirmed a reduction in limescale on heating surfaces of 80%.
The device is based on the companys zinc anode electrolytic design and incorporates electronic controls to precisely match levels of zinc to the hardness of the water. Testing at Cranfield was carried out in parallel with extensive field trials in commercial and industrial applications and found to control the limestone situation in numerous very hard water areas.
As it brings about a permanent change to the water chemistry, KalGUARD+ provides long term protection, even for stored water, and is effective at all flow rates. More articles from Watermatic: |
