Infrared camera debuts at The Energy Event 07
September 4th 2007

The new FLIR Systems’ ThermaCAM T- and B-Series infrared cameras provide a host of time-saving features in a highly compact design and will be debuting at The Energy Event 07.

It is sleek, looking more like the latest model a photographer would buy than a robust industrial instrument. But looks are deceptive as the camera houses everything an advanced frequent user of infrared could wish for.

These cameras are easy to use and provide excellent 320 x 240 pixel resolution. They have superb visualisation tools, text, voice and sketch annotation, manual and auto focus and are designed for easy data analysis and report generation.

Images are displayed on a large 3.5 inch touch screen and a stylus provides comfortable fingertip control; on many models the infrared lens can also be tilted through 120°.

This feature-rich range encompasses the T-Series for industrial applications and the B-Series for building and construction. All are easily portable. The new ThermaCAM T400 for example is less than half the weight of its nearest competitor.

The integration of thermal and visual imaging has been perfected in these models. The cameras also introduce Thermal Fusion for the seamless transition of images from thermal to visual and vice versa, on the screen, while retaining all measurement functions in both viewing modes.

All models are compatible with the latest ThermaCAM Reporter 8.2 software, a wizard-based reporting suite with advanced image processing and temperature calculation functions.
