Energy efficient, high powered and very effective October 16th 2007 Reznor V3 room-sealed gas fired warm air unit heaters are among the most technologically advanced on the market and qualify for inclusion on the Government’s Energy Technology List, making them eligible for the Enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme.
The product of extensive research and development, the Reznor V3 matches the demands of today’s high specification buildings with a versatile, robust and reliable heating solution that delivers the highest possible standards of energy efficiency and performance.
Radically new heat exchanger
At the heart of the technology is a radically different 4-pass heat exchanger, manufactured from titanium stabilised aluminised steel, which achieves a thermal efficiency of over 92%.
The aerodynamic profile of the heat exchanger reduces noise, allows high airflows for optimum temperature rise through the heater and minimises high roof space temperatures – making the V3 a perfect choice for a very wide range of applications, including hard-to-heat buildings such as warehouses with high racking.
The heat exchanger is designed to be especially strong and durable, providing extra temperature resistance. Its weld-free construction eliminates the possibility of structural weaknesses and ensures longer life.
Advanced burner technology
Advanced burner technology adds to the heater’s performance. The single, self-aligning burner eliminates possible flame impingement, which may cause premature heat exchanger failure, as well as any cross-lighting problems on ignition.
Compact and lightweight, the V3 is quick and straightforward to install. It offers improved airflow and the new louvre design creates longer air throws, reducing air and temperature stratification within the building.
Several V3 variants are available, each designed to answer specific building heating requirements. The heater can be aligned horizontally, or as a vertical downflow unit, which is ideal for applications requiring directional heating. The smallest unit is only 310mm high, allowing it to fit comfortably in confined areas, such as underneath mezzanine floors.
The unit may be fitted with a variable speed direct drive centrifugal fan – an excellent choice for applications requiring high airflows and long throws, such as very high buildings. These models may also be used with a small amount of ducting, air induction nozzles or as overdoor heaters, for the ultimate versatility.
