Energy 2006 expo - free entry, top exhibitors April 26th 2006 This year’s Energy Show – Energy 2006 – organised by Western Business Exhibitions Ltd and sponsored by EDF Energy – will take once again at the highly popular National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, on 6 and 7 September.
To date, over 85% of stand space has been booked by leading energy saving equipment manufacturers, utilities suppliers, research organisations and advisory bodies, including British Energy, Carbon Trust Enterprises, npower business, Llumarlite, Eaton-Williams Group, Space Airconditioning, Mitsubishi Electric, Stokvis Energy Systems, EDF Energy, E.On Energy, Atlas Copco, IM Serve Europe, Western Power Distribution, Scottish & Southern Energy among others.
Equipment on display is likely to be wide reaching in its scope and will present many welcome answers to the perennial cost, efficiency and legislative problems that plague UK industry. It will however, include variable speed motors, pumps and fans, CHP systems, management and specialised control systems, monitoring and metering equipment and energy efficient heating and air conditioning equipment and much more besides.
Energy 2006 will, as with previous events, be enhanced by a comprehensive conference and workshop programme, which will be presented this year by CIBSE, ESTA, the Major Energy Users Council (MEUC), Encore International, the British Compressed Air Society and last but by no means least, the Energy Information Centre (EIC).
The EIC seminar, entitled “Integrated Energy Cost Control” will address the manner in which energy resources are purchased and managed, covering the whole supply chain from procurement to data validation and utilisation. The CIBSE programme has not yet been finalised but will include energy efficiency topics that concern busy building services engineers. The MEUC offering will consider how market conditions, regulatory reactions, buyer and supplier strategies, efficiency measures and pricing forecasts can keep user ‘ahead of the game.’ ESTA’s workshops will focus on the theme “Fighting back against energy prices” and Encore International will be holding a series of ‘risk management of capital’ workshops.
Both exhibition entry and seminars are free of charge. To book your place, click www.energy2006.co.uk, call 01342 314300 or use the email enquiry system below More articles from Western Business Exhibitions: |
