Fed up with the credit crunch? March 30th 2009
With finance tight across business and the public sector, organisations need to make economies wherever possible. Some of the economies available can generate continuing savings as well as reducing environmental impact. A series of free, one-day conferences organised by the Energy Services and Technology Association (ESTA) offers building owners and managers a chance to find out how to employ tried and tested technologies in reducing energy consumption and cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
A raft of energy legislation has been introduced over the last few years, including more stringent Building Regulations and also energy certificates – more is coming with the Carbon Reduction Commitment shortly to begin. The ESTA Spring Conferences will explain how to take advantage of the opportunities offered by new regulations and outline how to minimise any associated compliance costs.
Good energy management helps organisations to save energy, save carbon and save money. ESTA represents over 100 members providing energy efficiency technology and services. The 2009 events continue a line of successful regional conferences. The Spring Conferences this year take place during April and May in London, Bristol, Coventry, Falkirk and at Haydock Park Racecourse.
