New packaged heat exchanger
August 1st 2005 Stokvis Energy Systems is launching the Econoplate C Series packaged plate heat exchanger for use with condensing boilers. The package is designed to operate with the lower flow and return temperatures provided by condensing boilers. The units operate with primary flow temperatures of 70°C and achieve return temperatures in the 40s and have outputs are up to 742kW.
The Government requires the UK energy industry to shift to condensing boilers from April 2005 and the upgrade of Building Regulations Part L from April 2006 will reinforce the need the need to ensure that return temperatures are low enough to realise the full potential of condensing boilers in commercial and public applications.
