August 1st 2004

Visitors to the FLIR Systems stand will be able to view the first public appearance of three brand new ranges of infrared cameras. These are the new P-Series for the professional thermographer, the new entry-level E-Series and the new B-Series, specifically for the needs of the building and construction sector.

The top-of-the-range ThermaCAM P65 provides real-time 50-Hz performance with high thermal sensitivity. It provides both thermal and colour visual imaging and can store up to 30 seconds of voice comment with each image. Users can also make notes on a PDA running Pocket Word and then beam them into the camera. The inclusion of Bluetooth as a standard feature with this new model enables wireless connection between the camera and earpiece with integral microphone. Basic reporting software is also now included with the P-Series package and to ensure the camera is best equipped to suit every application.

The ThermaCAM E-Series torch style infrared camera has made real-time thermal imaging and measurement affordable and has allowed thermography to become a standard component in any engineering toolkit.

The FLIR Systems building-specific infrared cameras is the ThermaCAM B20 and it can detect areas prone to mould and finding leaks in underground pipes.
