Automated GPC clean-up system
June 1st 2007

Gel Permeation Chromatography clean-up is an extraction method used for the removal of interfering substances such as proteins, fats and lipids, and complex polymers from food, tissue, soil and water samples.

Available from Anachem, the Gilson automated GX-271 Cleanup system GPC automates this process, creating a means of removing interfering substances prior to analysis by GC, GC/MS, HPLC or LC/MS.

The system is controlled via Trilution LC software and incorporates pre-programmed methods specifically designed for processes of automated GPC cleanup of up to 80 sample extracts.

It can use a variety of compatible GPC columns, low pressure glass or high pressure stainless steel containing packing material
