A clean sweep

With around 24,000 tonnes of recyclable glass being processed through its purpose-build facility, Recresco needs to ensure that its yard is regularly swept. Recresco is using Broadwood's SweepEx modular broom system,which is able to sweep up fragments of glass and paper labels from the half-acre yard in10 minutes.

A totally environmentally friendly concept, SweepEx generates minimal dust, thereby protecting the operator, machinery and the environment. The durable broom system has no moving parts, which means maintenance and downtime are practically non-existent. The modular brush system is easily and quickly attached to existing equipment such as skid-steers, forklifts, loader buckets, 3-point hitches or pick-up trucks using a heavy-duty mount.
