October 1st 2007

Designed for use by the utilities, water and waste and local government departments, the new Draeger Polytron 3000 is an intrinsically safe gas detector for the continuous monitoring of toxic gases and oxygen in ambient air.

Featuring a docking station and transmitter technology,Draeger says it offers a very low cost of ownership, is simple to maintain and eliminates the need for traditional service. The Polytron 3000 can be used to monitor the presence of a specific gas such as NH3, CO,CI2, H2S,NO2,NO,O2,SO2.

The docking station can be preinstalled on walls and pipes without special mounting plates and, at commissioning, can be easily connected to the transmitter by a quick-lock mechanism.

Designed to accept a pre-calibrated sensor, it also features digital temperature compensation and an LCD display.
