Chemical pumps
June 1st 2006

A close-coupled magnetic drive pump, that offers users the benefits of leak-free liquids transfer, total product containment, easy maintenance and simple, accurate installation, is the latest addition to the Johnson Pump range.

Introduction of the CombiMagBloc close-coupled pump extends the Combi range of safe and environmentally-friendly seal-less pumps.

Samarium cobalt magnets, combined with an inner magnetic rotor that is hermetically sealed, ensure a completely closed pumping system. This is said to guarantee a reliable production process operation because liquids are totally contained, even when the application involves highly toxic or high temperature process liquids.

The new pumps have a selfcentering Taper Lock close coupling feature that enables the outer rotor to be directly mounted onto the motor shaft, eliminating the potential for any flexible coupling or bearing frame misalignment.
