In agreement over smart metering
October 1st 2009

Stark, a smart metering services provider, says it is one of only two companies to have succeeded in becoming a supplier in all five categories of the UK's AMR framework agreement.

The contract has been awarded to Stark by Buying Solutions, an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC).

Public sector organisations can obtain the following smart metering services from Stark, without having to go through a tendering process: Provision and installation of smart meters, ongoing meter maintenance, Elexon-accredited half hourly and non half hourly meter reading and data collection services, and online data reporting services.

Organisations can buy these services in the following categories: Electricity; gas; water; sub meters, meter networks, other utilities; and a one-stop-shop solution for all of the above.
