Solatubes brighten up townhouses

Developers Godliman-Watson Homes chose products from SolaLighting's Solatube Daylighting Systems'Brighten Up range to bring natural daylight to bathrooms and stairwells of 31 newly built Victorian-style townhouses in Salford,Manchester.

The system captures daylight using a patented Raybender 3000 lens and LightTracker reflector technology within the roof mounted dome.This is then bounced down the 99.7% reflective Spectralight Infinity tube to deliver daylight to the rooms below. A Solatube 160 DS (250mm diameter) system illuminates each bathroom with natural light. Each property also has a Solatube 290 DS (350mm diameter) Daylighting System to pipe natural daylight to the window-less stairwells.
