Cofathec secures BERR contract April 1st 2008 Technical maintenance and energy
management company Cofathec
has been awarded a prestigious
contract with the Department for
Business, Enterprise and Regulatory
Reform (BERR), formerly known as
the DTI, and BERR's managing
agents E C Harris.
The contract is for a five-year
period and covers mechanical,
electrical and fabric maintenance
services and energy management
across nine sites stretching from
London to Scotland.
A key element in the award of
the contract was Cofathec's energy
management expertise and ability
to help BERR meet its sustainability
targets over the next five years and
beyond.
To that end, Cofathec has
appointed a full-time energy
manager to the BERR contract, in
support of the other 21 members
of the team.
Reactive calls will be dealt with
through a dedicated help desk
serving all BERR sites,which also
assists in the measurement of
performance against key
performance indicators (KPIs).
This is an important component
of the contract as there will be
penalties for any failings in service
delivery, and rewards for exceeding
KPIs and introducing innovative
practices and processes More articles from Cofathec Heatsave Limited: |
