Stay cool with cost effective data logger
February 1st 2010

The New Transit 2 data logger from Gemini is a simple to use, low cost temperature monitoring device.

Claimed to be practical, robust, lightweight and cost-effective, the logger is fine tuned for the monitoring of temperaturesensitive products in storage and transit.

Companies can benefit by using the loggers to determine whether storage facilities are operating at the correct temperatures – potentially saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions in the process.

The unit is splash-proof with a temperature range of -40 to +70°C.

It is BS EN12830 compliant, making temperature monitoring of the transport, storage and distribution of chilled, frozen, deep and quick-frozen foods within EU guidelines an affordable possibility.

The logger is accurate and reliable, showing clear graph displays when used with Tinytag Explorer, the easyto- use data logging software used to operate all Tinytag data loggers.

The Transit 2 logger offers both cable and inductive download options; using the logger with a USB cable offers a very cost-effective solution for single unit downloads, but when there is a need to download many units the inductive pad option is much easier and faster.
