Energy Optimizers has launched a smart power meter to provide wireless data delivery to PCs, laptops and PDAs. Plogg Blu is a simple plug-in device that allows the electricity consumption of an appliance to be checked in real time, monitored over a longer period, and even controlled remotely from anywhere within a building or site. Connected between an electrical appliance and the mains supply, Plogg Blu combines accurate kWh measurement with a data logging capability.

Integrated Bluetooth delivers data to a PC, Pocket PC compatible PDA or to a Bluetooth equipped smart phone.
