Effective monitoring and targeting
December 1st 2006 Energy savings can be made by applying more effective Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) programmes with the help of Metercom II monitoring software launched by Spirax Sarco. Metercom II is a PC-based software package that provides automatic meter reading and reporting facilities for all steam meters. It can also monitor other utility meters such as gas, oil, water, air and electricity. In fact, any meter that has a pulsed or 4-20mA output can be read. The software can automatically generate reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
