PRI has launched Scroller for Windows XP. It uses PRI smart metering and software it demonstrates the innovative use of technology to make carbon reduction easier.

Information for reducing carbon emissions is freely available; however, the ability to easily see the results in real time is new.

Scroller enables every single person within an organisation to actively reduce emissions and then see the results on their screen.

The visual display gives instant, real-time data for carbon emissions (kg), electricity consumption (kW's) as well as how much this costs (£).The data is displayed on a small bar that scrolls across the top of a computer screen, aimed for use by office staff, manufacturing plant areas, reception screens or web/intranet.

This visual display disappears when a mouse-curser moves over it and so does not interfere with desktop folders and documents.The look can be tailored to suit your individual messaging and corporate brand.
