Pocket-sized infrared camera June 1st 2008 Widening the scope of its infrared
systems, FLIR Systems has
introduced its i5, a pocket-sized
camera that costs £1990.
Designed to be affordable by
the trades,Fluke says it will provide
a rapid return on investment.
Weighing less than 340g, the
camera has an 80 x 80 pixel IR
resolution and thermal sensitivity

be identified and remedial action
taken; a long life battery provides

Temperatures to 250°C can be
measured with the i5 and it can
detect thermal differences as small

The camera is simple to use and
requires no former experience –
