New thermography department
December 1st 2007

A new thermography department has been established by Wyko, an ERIKS company. It will spearhead an energy-saving initiative from the company as it aims to help customers meet their corporate social responsibility goals in the drive towards energy efficiency.

Wyko's investments in thermal imaging technology include Flir's ThermaCAM P640 that provides the professional thermographer with the means to carry out infrared inspections thoroughly, efficiently and quickly. It has a 640 x 480 pixels uncooled detector and provides an image resolution that is said to be four times greater than that of a 320 x 240 model.

Wyko has also invested in staff training and can help customers in their dealings with The Carbon Trust.

It can offer advice on how best to approach using Energy Saving Loans.
