Monitors up to four locations simultaneously June 1st 2008 A cost effective predictive
maintenance vibration monitor
from ifm electronic detects rolling
element bearing failures and shaft
imbalance conditions in four
locations simultaneously.
The efector octavis bearing
condition monitor is now available
as a master unit which can also be
programmed via ethernet.The
vibration pickups, which can be up
to 30m from the central diagnostic,
are made in stainless steel with an
IP69k rating for tough environments.
The efector octavis recognises,
displays and signals bearing
condition. It continuously monitors
the machine operating condition,
detecting rolling element bearing
failures and shaft imbalance
conditions on critical equipment
such as pumps,motors, mixers,
compressors, fans and spindles. It is
permanently mounted on
equipment and has the processing
capability to analyse a vibration
signature and predict failures. More articles from ifm electronic Limited: |
