No more clogging in the pipeline
April 1st 2007

Progressing cavity pump manufacturer Netsch has introduced the M-Ovas, a macerator/grinding machine created for industries where solids in a liquid media can interfere with processes and create potential safety risks.

Suitable for use in biogas, waste and sewage plants, food processing, paper and pulp production and even heath resorts, the M-Ovas uses hardened steel cutting tips to grind the solids content of the media to help prevent clogging in pipelines.

It is available in a wide range of capacities and is capable of achieving flow rates up to 300m3/h where the liquid media has a solids content of up to 7%. Grinding is accomplished using selfadjusting, wear-resistant knives incorporated in the housing cover, which is fitted with gasreducing pressure valves.

The integrated separating chamber has individual outlet ports to enable sediment to be removed.
