designed by AUMA, can be used in
a wide range of water sector
applications including the
automation of potable water, the
treatment of wastewater and a
variety of control systems.The
modular actuator is designed with
the ability to disconnect both bus
line and power supply in a single
plug arrangement without
disturbing other devices
downstream of the bus connection.
"The AUMA fieldbus termination
solution comprises a 50-pole
plug/socket arrangement
incorporating a fieldbus
connection board within the plug
housing. In addition, the single or
three phase supply is also
accommodated in a separate part
of the same housing," says Ian Sully,
