Grundfos Pumps recognises that it is important to provide customers with tools to help them decide which pump would best suit their needs, regardless of application.

Its pump selection tools are constantly reviewed and updated to keep them relevant and include selection guides such as the on-line WebCAPS and the CD-based WinCAPS. There is also a range of specialist print materials and a range of bespoke slide rules.

The first slide rule, aimed at the water industry and incorporating a Friction Loss Calculator, was commissioned by Grundfos in 1995 and has recently been updated to include an overview of the range of sewage, effluent and drainage pump families available.
