Energy Saving –T5 Watt-Miser™ GE Lighting is taking energy efficiency to new levels and, as the next phase of the T5 lamp evolution, has created the T5 Watt-Miser™ range – ideal for users who want to cut running costs and reduce their carbon footprint.

The new range significantly decreases energy costs and CO2 emissions,as well as other greenhouse gases.The environmentally responsible design of GE'S new Watt-Miser™ T5 range means the lamps use 5% less energy in comparison to standard T5 lamps but still offer the same lumen output performance.This makes the GE T5 Watt-Miser™ range the most efficient T5 product on the market – with up to 110 lumens per watt lamp efficiency achieved.

Importantly, the T5 Watt-Miser range can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 42kg per lamp and reduce energy costs by up to £8 per lamp, over their lifetime.Other benefits include a short pay back as low as 4 months and the lamps are also retrofitable into existing T5 fixtures so CO2 savings can start from day 1.

Extended Life – T5 LongLast ™ GE Lighting has introduced the T5 LongLast™ linear fluorescent range.This high output, energyefficient product was designed under a 6 Sigma quality program to ensure the highest of quality and design to meet market demands. Its wide range of colour temperature options (3000- 6500K) allows for easy selection of the correct lamp across all application requirements.

T5 LongLast™ offers up to 30,000 hours of life whilst providing superior optical control from its compact size.T5 LongLast™ lamps will considerably reduce replacement and maintenance costs whilst reducing the overall volume of lamps required to be recycled – thus offering real environmental benefits.

With an 85 CRI (color rendering index) and its slim 16mm diameter design, the LongLast T5 Starcoat is ideal for a variety of applications, including general or indirect lighting of display cases,wall washes, alcoves and sign lighting.This product line is available in 2 types: high efficiency (14/21/28/35W) and high output versions (24/39/54/80W).

Safety Applications – T5 CovRGuard ™ Where safety becomes key in special application settings such as food processing plants, food warehouses and distribution centers,grocery stores and restaurants, GE offers itsT5 CovRguard™ lamp.

This product adds a shield to T5 tubes to offer outstanding shatter resistance with a 15 millimetre thick Lexan™ plastic shield that helps to contain glass fragments and phosphors if a lamp is broken.Lamps are available in 3 different wattages 24, 39 and 54 in 5 colour temperatures with an industry standard CRI of 85, whilst keeping life performance high at 30,000 hours.
