Lights up car park
October 1st 2007 A selection of Holophane
luminaries have been used in
Grand Arcade, a new shopping
centre in Wigan.
Holophane's Atlanta fittings
were chosen for use throughout
the multi-storey car park, in
conjunction with a BMS control
system for maximum energy
savings. With an IP rating of 65,
Atlanta uses polycarbonate
prismatic control to improve
uniformity and spacing while
providing a comfortable visual
environment with minimum
glare. The BMS system detects
movement within the area and
adjusts the lighting up or down
accordingly. For the rooftop car
park, a range of wall lights and
columns from the Denver range
