The silent chiller
June 1st 2008

Airedale has launched the TurboChill air-cooled, high capacity chiller. The chiller has centrifugal Turbocor compressors and Airedale claims it minimises environmental impact by increasing efficiency and pushing down sound levels. It's claimed The TurboChill's 'seasonal efficiency' ESEER values of up to 5.7 are 50% higher than those of a traditional screw chiller. The Turbocor compressor has an EER of up to 8.0 at part load.

Intelligent, self-optimising compressors present near silent operation and allow efficient variable speed control, using substantially less power.
