Alfa Laval has introduced a new
series of colour-coded service plans
designed to help users of Plate
Heat Exchangers (PHEs) save time –
and money. Alfa Laval's new
colour-coded approach to service
enables users to choose for
themselves the level of service
which best matches their needs,
budget and process requirements.
The service is available for all
brands of Plate heat exchanger not
just for Alfa laval's own brand.
The no-frills option, Blue, is a fast
cleaning service that can be used
when the plates and gaskets are
undamaged and is recommended
between major services to boost
PHE performance.
The yellow level is designed for
use with PHEs operating in less
rigorous environments and not
subject to extremes of temperature
or pressure. For a full-service
option, there is the red package,
designed for PHEs working with
aggressive chemicals or with a high
