New HVAC for historic building February 1st 2008 A historic building in Liverpool's
Riverside dock area is being
redeveloped as part of the city's
European Capital of Culture year
2008.The building is a Grade II
listed warehouse originally used
to hold slaves as they
passed through
Liverpool.The
conversion, part of
the Buddleia Project,
is developing the six
storeys into
conference and
exhibition facilities,
restaurant and business units.
The heating, ventilating and airconditioning
systems within the
redeveloped building include a
wide range of valves
produced by Crane
Fluid Systems
and installed by
building services
contractors A & B
Engineering of
Liverpool.The
valve types
installed
include bronze
commissioning
sets, isolation valves, check valves
and strainers and large 200mm iron
