New approach to air handling
February 1st 2008

As part of its Energy-Saver programme, Eaton-Williams has introduced a new approach to air handler design in the form of its Fan Wall Technology.Air handlers using the technology are said to be 6 to 10% more energy efficient.

The system is being applied across Moducel's LKP range of air handlers. The technology is a new way of customising air handling units using many speciallydesigned high efficiency small diameter, direct-driven fans mounted in an array within the air handler's intake.

The technology solves many of the problems often associated with the upgrade of air handlers, particularly in older structures. It can increase efficiency and control temperature and humidity levels and is suitable for projects where there are stringent size, reliability and noise criteria.
