Fuel saving combination February 1st 2008 The CSI 150 Low Nox from
Ravenheat Manufacturing
is a Sedbuk Band A boiler,
the most efficient boiler
classification.
Since virtually all energy
put into the system is
effectively used, exhaust
emissions of noxious gases
into the atmosphere are
minimised.The power of the
compact boiler, in domestic
hot water mode, is 17.3L/min flow
rate through 35°C rise.
Installation was considered at
the design stage, and the boiler's
compact valves sit close to the wall
and are colour-coded.When the
cover is removed, all major
components are readily to hand.
The boiler can be used with
Ravenheat's Energycatcher, adding
to its eco-friendly credentials.The
device is easy to install, uses no
electricity, has no running
costs, requires no
maintenance and sits on
top of the boiler.
Flue gases are fed into
the Energycatcher, where
they flow over a heat
exchanger.The otherwise
wasted heat is transferred
to the water in the heat
exchanger, which moves
under convection to a
storage cylinder where it can reach
50 to 60°C.When the householder
runs the hot tap, the hot water runs
from the cylinder, via a blender
valve, to the tap.Heat is thereby
supplied free of charge.Water may
also be cycled through the boiler
where just enough heat is applied
to bring it to pre-selected
temperature, again using less gas. More articles from Ravenheat Manufacturing Limited: |
