Electrothermic head keeps manifold price in check

To ensure its manifold is competitively priced, Emmeti UK is providing an in-house make of electrothermic head.

With features and benefits similar to those offered before, the new head continues to incorporate an electrothermic actuator, its 'internal engine'.

A wax/copper element converts heat energy to mechanical energy to open or close a water-flow valve.The head responds to electrical switching from a programmable or a traditional wall thermostat.The new head is compact, and allows finger access either side.

Features include a red pop-up indicator, isolated from electrical parts to protect them against ingress of water, and a microswitch facility in certain variants to allow independent control of, for example, a pump.
