PIR thermostat control for cooling June 1st 2006 Danlers has launched a new passive infra-red thermostat control for cooling loads such as 'stand alone' air cooling units.
The product combines an adjustable room thermostat with a PIR person detector. If somebody is present in the room, the cooling unit is switched on to achieve the selected thermostat temperature. When nobody is present the temperature is allowed to rise to an upper 'ceiling' temperature.
This gives comfortable temperature control while reducing energy consumption. More articles from Danlers Limited: |
