Wider range of component drives

ABB has expanded its range of component drives by adding 1.5 and 2.2kW versions to its existing 0.18, 0.37 and 0.75 kW models.

ABB component drives are small, simple, low-cost drives used to control pumps, fans, gates, conveyors and materials handling equipment across a wide range of industries. They can also replace other components such as contactors and soft starters.

The drives have an easy and descriptive interface and do not require programming. Their compact size and thin shape (from 45 to 70mm) make them ideal for most installations, including DIN rail mounting. An integral EMC filter offers low EMC emissions, while the switching frequency is optimised automatically to provide the lowest possible motor noise.
