Keeping track of compressed air in larger pipes
June 1st 2006

ifm electronic offers the efector metris in pipe diameters up to DN200, or 8", in galvanised of stainless steel pipes (it was designed for pipe diameters up to 2").

Manufacturing industry in the UK typically loses in excess of 30% of its compressed air to leaks and 1kW of compressed air work costs the equivalent of 10kW of electricity.

The efector metris for larger pipes still offers an analogue output or a pulsed output, with selectable switchpoints, and a display in the units if your choice.
